From knowledge to effect

SolidarMed places great importance on the impact of its programs. Therefore, the latest scientific findings from the field of global health flow into projects for our beneficiaries. Thanks to targeted quality control, treatments are continuously improved.

The full illustration of how scientific influences shape SolidarMed's projects is available for download in the following section.

Together with academic partners, SolidarMed also contributes to scientific exchange. The schematic illustration shows SolidarMed's efforts in the field of HIV/AIDS over the last 10 years.

HIV treatment in hospitals alone does not reach many people.

Tests are performed during home visits. If the result is positive, patients can start treatment without delay and on site.

A school girl shows off her finger prick. In remote mountain villages, SolidarMed tests people for HIV and offers immediate treatment.
